This Privacy Policy describes how Raamo Apps ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in the mobile application PDF Master AI: Edit, Scan, OCR (package name com.rms.pdfscannerai.edit.scandocs), referred to here as the "App".
By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is designed to work on your device. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not upload, store, or transmit the contents of your documents to our servers. We do not operate servers that receive your files. The App uses a small number of Google services for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, and payments, described in detail below.
We do not collect, sell, or share:
The App has no user accounts and no login.
All document processing happens locally on your device. Files you open, scan, edit, merge, split, compress, protect, sign, or convert remain on your device. Exported and saved files are written to your device storage, typically your Downloads folder, or to a location you choose.
Temporary working copies may be written to the App's private cache directory while a task runs. You can remove these at any time using Settings → Clear Cache, or by clearing the App's cache in your device settings.
The App's AI features, including document scanning, text recognition (OCR), entity extraction, summarisation, and translation, run on your device using Google ML Kit and, where supported, on-device generative models. Your document content is processed locally and is not sent to us or to any third party for AI processing.
For translation, ML Kit may download language model files from Google's servers the first time you use a given language pair. This download requests a model file; it does not transmit your document content. Once downloaded, translation works offline.
The App displays advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use certain information to serve and measure ads, including your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID), IP address, device type, operating system version, and general ad-interaction data. This information is handled by Google under its own policies, not by us.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App presents a consent form using Google's User Messaging Platform before personalised ads are served. You may change or withdraw your choice at any time from Settings → Ad privacy options.
You can reset or delete your advertising identifier, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your device's Settings under Google → Ads.

The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google, to understand how the App is used in aggregate and to diagnose crashes and errors.
These services may collect device and usage information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, coarse region, anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers, in-app events (for example, which screen was opened), and, in the event of a crash, a stack trace and device state at the time of the crash.
This information does not include the contents of your documents. We use it only to maintain and improve the App.

The App does not request access to your contacts, messages, call logs, microphone, or location.
Because we do not collect your documents or personal information, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf.
Data stored locally by the App, such as your recent files list, favourites, saved scans, and preferences, stays on your device. You can remove it by clearing the App's storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the App. Uninstalling removes all App data held on the device.
Data collected by Google through AdMob, Firebase, and Google Play is retained under Google's policies. You can manage or delete much of it through your Google Account controls at https://myaccount.google.com.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Because your documents stay on your device, their security depends primarily on your device's own protections, such as your screen lock and device encryption. Password protection applied to a PDF within the App is applied to the file itself; we do not hold a copy of the password and cannot recover it for you.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
